YOU’RE NOT ALONE
Many Muslims feel the same confusion, demotivation and disillusionment — and for some, these feelings are so paralysing that it leads to procrastination and inaction. But here’s why that’s not your fault:
- The da’wah field looks scary. You’re afraid of being judged for sharing the truth and are anxious about being caught and humiliated by a competitor. The fear of being falsely labelled, losing your reputation and living with it for the rest of your life deters you from even getting started.

Tests encourage you to step up, prove you’re worthy and earn a station closer to Allāh ﷻ in paradise that you wouldn’t have achieved had you not gone through this test.

YOUR GUIDES ON THE JOURNEY
The instructors at this retreat are leaders in the field of da’wah, activism and professional capacities.
They have professional, academic and scholarly qualifications, and decades of experience in the public and private sector. They also have a track record of developing teams and organisations, successfully implementing their vision and strategy, and extensive experience in developing leaders, both at home and globally, that have significantly impacted the da’wah and social spheres.
SHAYKH DR. HAITHAM
Shaykh Dr Haitham al-Haddad is a jurist and UK-based Scholar who currently serves as the Chair of the Fatwa Committee for The Islamic Council of Europe. He has studied Islamic sciences for over 20 years under the tutelage of renowned scholars. He obtained his doctorate on the jurisprudence of Muslim Minorities from SOAS, University of London. He specialises in many of the Islamic sciences and, together with his academic background, has an ocean of experience in helping people use Islamic principles as solutions for their everyday and professional lives. He has over the course of the past decade dealt with several hundred cases.
Shaykh Dr Haitham has over a decade of experience in the public and private sector with a specialism in management and leadership. He set-up and initiated various global initiatives and currently advises and supports myriad of teams and organisations,
SHAYKH ASIM KHAN
Shaykh Asim Khan is an Imam, author and instructor based in London, UK. From an early age, he excelled in academic studies. He gained a Masters in Pharmacy from the University College London, UK, and studied Arabic and Qur’ānic Sciences in Cairo, Egypt. He appears regularly on several TV channels.
Shaykh Asim Khan has a special interest in Tafsir studies (Qur’ānic Studies) and has authored several books in the field. More recently, through his popular “Simple Seerah” book, he made the Prophet’s Seerah ﷺ accessible to a younger English-speaking generation.
SHAYKH FAHAD TASLEEM
Shaykh Fahad Tasleem is the head of Sapience Institute USA and the founder of various pioneering da’wah and entrepreneurial projects. He is the author of “No Doubt: 10 Effective Strategies On How To Deal With Your & Other People’s Doubts”. He is an international lecturer and instructor, and holds a BA in Economics.
Shaykh Fahad completed graduate studies in Middle Eastern Studies with a focus on Islamic Theology, and has an MSc in Business. He is a researcher and teacher of various Islamic sciences and has studied Islamic Thought and Theology with senior local and international scholars.
HAMZA ANDREAS TZORTZIS
Hamza Andreas Tzortzis is the founder and CEO of Sapience Institute. He is the author of the best-selling book: “The Divine Reality: God, Islam and The Mirage of Atheism”, which has been translated into over 10 languages. He has an MRes, MA and a PgCert in Philosophy from the University of London. He is currently pursuing his PhD on the Qur’ān and its verses pertaining to nature. He has studied Islamic Thought and Theology under qualified scholars.
Hamza has a professional background in project and programme management, charity governance and operations, and has worked as a consultant for the public and private sector. He was the CEO of iERA from April 2017 until February 2020, where he and his team developed sector-leading robust systems, processes and procedures. He grew the organisation by over 500%, with an international operational growth of over 1000%.
